I wore contact lenses and glasses for many years and I wanted to get rid of them, so I went to Dr. Liegner’s office for a free LASIK consultation.  Little did I know I had early cataracts. Dr. Liegner explained that LASIK wouldn’t work for me – I needed cataract surgery. I couldn’t believe that I’d visited two other eye doctors prior to Dr. Liegner and neither of them told me I had cataracts.

At first I was disappointed because I didn’t want to wear contacts anymore but Dr. Liegner explained that I could get multifocal “Lifestyle” lenses put in at the same time he removed the cataracts. I didn’t know what this was at first, but once he explained it to me, I was all for it. Just the thought of not wearing any type of glasses was very exciting.

On the day of the surgery, I was extremely nervous because, these are my eyes! But the staff was so caring and thoughtful they made it a breeze. Dr. Liegner also assured me everything would be alright. That helped ALOT! The night of the surgery Dr. Liegner called me to make sure I was OK, and I knew I had chosen a great doctor.  A doctor that calls you and makes sure you’re OK is a Great Doctor in my eyes. I highly recommend Dr. Liegner for any eye procedure you may have.
